How do I find a location quickly?
If you haven't already try installing the flickr & geourl firefox extension. Whenever you're on a page with location information a globe in the status bar will light up and with one click you can see photos and websites near that location.

How do I get my website or photos on this page?
You need to either add geourl meta tags to your web page or tag your flickr photos with the city and country they were taken in.

Can I get one of those cool flash world maps for my own website?
Sure thing, you can download a flash photoblog world map for your own website.

How did you build it?
Lots of late nights, calculus scribbled on random bits of paper and by patching together a number of great webservices and scripts. Flickr API, geourl, minixml, cache lite, datarequestor. You can also read a description of how the map tries to find images at flickr on the main flickr world map page.

I've found a bug!
